2025 Our first Year
April 2025
Participants of the AEROSEC Consortium, namely Dassault Systèmes, Dassault Aviation and Indra, participated in several key events organized by the Direction Générale des Entreprises, ANSSI – Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d’information, and TEDAE, Asociación Española de Empresas Tecnológicas de Defensa, Seguridad, Aeronáutica y Espacio. These engagements underscored the urgent need for a harmonized European approach on the protection of sensitive data of strategic sectors from extraterritorial claims. This is an essential step toward establishing unified standards and norms fit for defense specificities to enable the development of a European sovereign, highly secure multicloud platform for the co-design and co-development of future European military programs.
May 2025
Participation to FEINDEF 2025 in Madrid, was a great opportunity to present AEROSEC and share the vision behind our ambitious project: developing a Highly Secure Multicloud Platform (HSMP) to support the co-conception of future military programs — including those funded by the European Defence Fund.
This event provided an excellent platform for the AEROSEC Consortium to engage in valuable discussions with defense leaders and stakeholders from across the EU, reinforcing our shared commitment to secure, collaborative innovation in European defense.
July 2025
The 6th Cloud Alliance General Assembly was a good opportunity to provide direct insight into the ongoing project which kick started in January 2025. A big thank you to the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud for giving the floor to the European co-funded project AEROSEC.
AEROSEC is a direct result of the White Paper prepared by the Aeronautics and Security Working Group between December 2021 and December 2022.
November 2025
AEROSEC Coordinator Juliette Renaut had the great opportunity to present Aerosec EU Project during the 60th European Defence Agency CapTech Information meeting — a fantastic moment to highlight not only the project’s ambitions, but also the critical role it plays in strengthening Europe’s defence collaboration capabilities in a secure, multi cloud environment dealing with EU restricted data.
In today’s volatile environment, positioning European R&D projects within a broader, coherent ecosystem is more important than ever. Ensuring strong alignment between EU initiatives, Ministries of Defence, industry partners, and operational needs is essential if we want to accelerate defence collaboration and deliver real impact. AEROSEC is a perfect example of how collaborative innovation can drive technological sovereignty and reinforce Europe’s strategic autonomy.
Aerosec at Paris Air Show
At the 2025 Paris Air Show, AEROSEC took center stage as a flagship example of European innovation in secure digital collaboration for defense. As a Digital Europe Programme co-funded project, AEROSEC will deliver the design of a sovereign, Highly Secure Multi Cloud European platform (HSMP), gathering major industry players Airbus Defense and Space, Dassault Aviation, Indra Systems, Leonardo, Dassault Systèmes, 3DS OUTSCALE and Cefriel. At the Bourget, AEROSEC demonstrated the pioneering spirit of its members to pave the way to ensure the European Union (EU) masters the strategic tools required to strengthen technological sovereignty, accelerate military co conception, and boost European defense competitiveness.

The Paris Air Show provided the ideal platform to reunite the project executives, providing strategic insights for the project, as well as announce the University partnerships on the Model-Based System Engineering demonstrator which will be developed in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, ESTIA-ISAE SUPAERO, Helmut Schmidt University, Delft University of Technology, Linkoping University, and Kaunas University of Technology.
