Dassault Systèmes is proud to be the Coordinator of the AEROSEC European Defense Cloud project. We are leading on the governance and the Dissemination Strategy for AEROSEC, as well as building one of the three AEROSEC prototypes by providing a demonstrator on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform hosted on a Dassault Systèmes Cloud to demonstrate global collaboration capabilities between multiple countries supporting a Model Based approach for Systems Engineering.

In 2002, with the 7X program and through a “virtual platform”, Dassault Aviation was the first dual company in the world to design an all 3D digital aircraft, working collaboratively and with all partners having continuous access to the digital references for all aircraft in the process of design and/or production.

As part of the Aerosec project, Dassault Aviation is bringing its experience as an industrial project manager in co-design activities in complex programs in order to define common, secure, sovereign methods and means, compatible with a multi-Cloud approach.

The Division’s business is driven by different Programme Lines incl. Military Air Systems, Space Systems and Connected Intelligence that provide interoperable and collaborative solutions to ensure superiority for combat systems across all five operational domains: land, air, sea, space and cyber.

It contributes to the Aerosec project to help build and design a secure demonstrator architecture, cloud connectivity and define its system requirements.

Indra Group is a holding company that promotes technological innovation that includes Indra, one of the main global defense, air traffic and space companies; and Minsait, leading digital transformation and information technologies in Spain and Latin America.

In the context of AEROSEC, Indra is responsible for leading the system design, integration, and accreditation strategy, as well as setting up the infrastructure for demonstrating collaborative tools on a secured and sovereign, military-specific multicloud-based environment. They also conduct real-life tests of service demonstrators and create detailed reports and user guides for multicloud services.

Leonardo is proud to be a key contributor to the AEROSEC European Defense Cloud project. Leonardo will led the development of the federated service within Work Package 3, providing the technological expertise to support secure, high-performance multi-cloud environments. Leonardo will make available an on-premises cloud environment based on industry-standard open-source services (OpenStack), seamlessly integrated with the central cloud infrastructure to test and demonstrate multi-cloud service capabilities. Additionally, Leonardo will leverage its davinci-1 supercomputer—one of the most powerful in the Aerospace, Defense, and Security sectors—to provide unparalleled computational power and support for the project’s advanced simulations and data processing needs.

Cefriel is a not-for-profit digital innovation center, founded in 1988 by the Polytechnic University of Milan. The center’s mission is to develop digital innovation organically combining research, innovation, and training, as well as leveraging the skills and knowledge from the world of research, companies, and the public administration. Cefriel has been a Benefit Corporation since 2023. By using methods, approaches, tools, and models based on state-of-the-art international research and innovation, Cefriel helps companies and the public administration define their vision and establish their strategies for seizing on digital technologies, helping them scout and assess innovative technologies, then build and manage a portfolio of digital innovation projects.

Cefriel’s role in AEROSEC is to disseminate and communicate the project objectives and results, together with the facilitation of the two public workshops and the meeting with project stakeholders, BNEA group in particular.  CEFRIEL will develop and maintain the project brand identity, and the project website and linkedin page. CEFRIEL is responsible for defining a communication and exploitation strategy and monitoring how communications and exploitation are done, according to the strategy.
