The Answer for a Sovereign European Defense Cloud

The Project

AEROSEC is a €27M, 4-year project (Jan 2025 – Dec 2028), co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme. Originating from the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge & Cloud, it will develop three prototypes based on a secured network and Cloud Infrastructure Bubble demonstrating the development of military programs on a secure Cloud tailored for defense purposes.

Objectives

Definition of Agnostic System Requirements and Design and the Definition of a service framework for a highly secured Multi Cloud collaborative platform for A&D programs

Set-up of an infrastructure for the demonstration of collaborative tools on a secured, sovereign and military-specific Multi Cloud-based environment

Design, implementation, and validation of advanced service demonstrations supporting system-of-systems engineering.

Establishment of a National and European Governance encompassing public authorities for the Highly Secured Multicloud Platform (HSMP)

Contribution to the Community

AEROSEC will contribute to the EU Digital Decade objectives 2030 by

Tackling the challenges of deploying secured and sustainable infrastructures, i.e. collaboration on Digital System Engineering and Virtual Twin, in a multicloud environment during the lifetime 
of the project

Addressing the challenge of the digitisation of companies and public services in the security, defence and aerospace sector, calling for a new set of rules and accreditation process and solutions

AEROSEC will reinforce the EU Digital Supply Chain by:

Reinforcing EU technologies for Virtual Twin Experience

Increasing  EU technologies Identity Authentication Management for highly secured sectors
